Sportsbeat were appointed as the official video production company for the Virgin Money London Marathon in 2015.

Over the past two weeks we have provided a production crew to work with the event media comms during race week, as well as working on the wider campaign throughout the build up to and after the conclusion of the campaign.

This has included a press conference filming service, mixed zone reaction content and news syndication as well as campaign-led video content.

We were proud our content helped to shape the #ThankYouPaula campaign in 2015 in honour of British marathon great Paula Radcliffe’s last appearance in the event, and the #OneInAMillion hashtag in 2016 to recognise the millionth marathon finisher.

Other highlights include working with footage from BBC Panorama of astronaut Tim Peake training for his marathon at the International Space Station, with our edit promoted on national TV networks, and seeing our images of millionth finisher Shannon Foudy from Hemel Hempstead picked up by national news networks across the UK and worldwide.
