Sportsbeat were engaged by Run Communications and London 2017 to provide a video production service around key milestones in the build-up to the 2017 World Athletics Championships in London.
This included working with current and legacy athletes and personalities to create engaging video content for digital and social platforms around major events, such as the Birmingham Diamond League and the Muller Anniversary Games.
Working closely with the media comms team at London 2017, we produced a series of videos that were used to help drive brand awareness and ticket sales ahead of the August 2016 ticket launch.
Sportsbeat were not only responsible for creating short form video content with high profile current and former athletes, but also producing exclusive behind the scenes content during the making of London 2017’s key promotional video.
Also providing photography and news syndication services, our collaboration with London 2017 has been extremely creatively satisfying, allowing us to bring the full power of our in-house graphics design team to the fore across numerous videos.
That included designing the ‘The Race Is On’ bumper graphics using London 2017’s brand guidelines, which have been used across much of their branded video content.
