The Invesco Perpetual City Regatta is a fantastic new initiative for 2016 launched by global investment makers Invesco Perpetual to drive engagement with rowing through a dynamic, free, city centre ergo rowing championship.
Our partnership with Invesco Perpetual grew out of our existing collaboration with Progressive Marketing, to drive brand awareness and engagement with Invesco Perpetual’s sponsorship of Leander, the world’s greatest rowing club.
Filmed across five separate shoots in Edinburgh, Leeds, Bristol, Canary Wharf and at the final at London’s Guildhall this was a fantastic project to work on, allowing us to capture the atmosphere and action as the amateur rowers put their skills (and lungs) to the test.
Working with Invesco Perpetual’s brand team to ensure our content reflected their existing brand values and guidelines, our content was used to power the businesses digital and social marketing channels.
Content – including bespoke regional and nationally relevant editorial and imagery was also shared with sports editors at print and web publishers across the UK, gaining some fantastic coverage for Invesco Perpetual in the process.
This included working with some of Leander’s incredible Olympic rowing champions like Alex Gregory and Phelan Hill and Invesco Perpetual City Regatta ambassador Debbie Flood to create content specifically for the rowing market.
In total, our videos appeared more than 480 times across 120-plus digital platforms, generating an advertising value equivalent (AVE) of £121,000.
