As part of our ongoing working relationship with Premiership Rugby, Sportsbeat were selected to produce a series of short films highlighting the award-winning HITZ programme.

Launched in 2010 at six Premiership Rugby clubs, HITZ uses a structured rugby programme, mentoring and life skills training to tackle some of the challenges facing disenfranchised young adults and giving those with no hope, new hope.

As well as providing official video support at the national roll-out in Lambeth and the inaugural HITZ Awards in 2014, Sportsbeat are also producing a series of short films looking at HITZ success stories from each Premiership Rugby club.

Working closely with the programme’s four funding partners (Barclays, Comic Relief, Land Rover and Wooden Spoon) and Premiership Rugby, our video crews have unearthed some incredible tales of determination, resilience and inner strength.

Used extensively across Premiership Rugby’s official website and social channels for all the funders, our content is also syndicated far and wide to sports editors across the UK through our subscriber network.
