During the summer of 2016 Sportsbeat were approached by London Marathon Events Ltd to partner with them and Buxton Water on a bespoke video project around their new sponsorship of Prudential RideLondon.

As an existing video content provider to London Marathon Events Ltd across several of their properties this was a fantastic opportunity for us to collaborate on an exciting new sponsorship in it’s first year.

Having previously also worked with Buxton Water on their 24-hour Canada Water / Buxton Water station rebrand, we were thrilled to be asked to partner on this project and to work with the Buxton Water comms team once more.

The project focused on Buxton Water’s sponsorship of the Andrew Burton trials arena in Green Park during the Saturday of Prudential RideLondon, with the world-famous trials rider attempting multiple world records while also entering into a trials contest featuring some of the world’s best riders, all in a beautifully created Buxton-branded trials arena.

Creating short form video content of the event, our role was to capture the incredible feats of Andrei and his crew and tell the story of the day, including the brilliant atmosphere from the huge crowds watching on, and helping to promote Buxton Water’s Naturally Pumped Up ethos and brand.

Our content was used on both Prudential RideLondon and Buxton Water social and digital channels to promote the respective events, and we were thrilled with the buy-in we got from Andrei and his team as well as how the content turned out.
